Skiing and snowboarding
The Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort offers skiing in five areas on 27 km of pistes. A single ski pass applies throughout the complex and all resorts are connected by a regular ski bus line. The Labská ski area is located directly opposite our pension. The three-seater cable car with a red ski slope is an ideal place for families with children. The upper station has convenient access to cross-country trails. The Svatý Petr complex is the most important center of sporting events. There are two cable cars and downhill runs, both for demanding skiers and beginners. The most sunny downhill runs can be found in the Medvědín ski area. Medvědín Peak is the starting point for winter ski touring. The Horní Mísečky complex is suitable for beginners and families with children. There is a cross-country ski area with racing circuits. Areál Hromovka welcomes you on arrival in the city. Below the top station of the cable car, snowboarders will find a small snow park. You can also ski in the area in this area. The local downhill run is one of the longest evening slopes in the Czech Republic.
Sleigh ride
The only illuminated toboggan run in the Czech Republic is in Špindlerův Mlýn. It offers a ride of three kilometers. The sledge is designed for one adult or an adult with a child under 6 years.
Ski trails
Based on the cooperation of the KRNAP Administration with the Mountain Service and the Czech Association of Mountain Guides, eight ski mountaineering routes are available in the Krkonoše Mountains, where it is possible to learn to walk uphill, downhill or just enjoy a nice trip. These are not safe routes, it is always necessary to find out about the current state of avalanche danger.
Half pipe
It is the largest state-of-the-art snow park in the Czech Republic for adventurous snowboarders and freestyle skiers. Everything is designed with safety in mind and for use by the widest possible public.
Summer sports
Buffalo
Right next to the pension we have prepared a grass field for you, where you can play volleyball, football, practice aerobics, yoga and other summer sports.
Adventure park
On the way to the Medvědín cable car, you will come across the Adventure Park - an entertainment center for children and adults, where a giant swing, a bungee trampoline, a climbing net, a peg ladder, and archery await you.
ATVs
You can book a trip on quad bikes with an instructor. There is a prepared route about 60 km long, asphalt, dirt roads, mud, fords, etc. They are organized from spring to autumn.
Rappelling
At the Labská dam, which is a short walk from our pension, it is possible to order abseiling, both for individuals and groups. You descend on a rope along the 35 m long wall of the dam. All equipment and an instructor are available.
Fun in the rainy days
Touch screen jukebox, luxury pinball, table football, pool table, darts, poker, an inexhaustible supply of games for XBOX and DVD movies. There is an equipped games room, where you will find a children’s corner for the little ones. No child has been bored at the Buffalo Residence yet. On the contrary. They will pray for it to rain. For active recreation we have a ping pong room.
